Pre-Trip Checklist
In preparation for this trip, please follow this checklist:
- Confirm your attendance with the Scoutmasters
- Complete, with your parent or guardian, an emergency medical treatment form, if you have not completed one or if your current one is more than one year old
- Have your parent or guardian sign the permission slip
- No later than Monday, August 18, 2014, turn in your emergency medical treatment form (if applicable), signed permission slip, and the activity fee
- Pack your gear, keeping these suggestions in mind:

Details
- Pack your gear for a backpacking trip, including all essential items (flash light, first aid kit, water, compass, etc), weather appropriate clothes, and food & water.
- Pack all items in a comfortable framed backpack, suitable for carrying up to 25 miles.
- Wear comfortable, properly fitting hiking boots with inner-liner and outer-wicking socks.
- Bring two pairs of extra liner socks and two pair extra outer-wicking socks.
